SPECTROMAXx M
Arc/Spark Optical Emission Spectrometry (OES) Analyzer
Description, construction features, technical characteristics, application programs

Arc/Spark Optical Emission Spectrometry Analizer SPECTROMAXx M is a device for determining the chemical composition of ferrous and nonferrous metallic materials.
The instrument is recommended for applications such as: "die cast" or "injection molding" in the foundry of ferrous and nonferrous metals, iron and steel industry, also for applications "multi-matrix", for inspection on production flow, the entry/exit of materials in/from production sector, for metal processing, quality control of semifinished products and manufactured, and any other related operations where it is necessary to determine the chemical composition of a metallic material.
All the elements necessary for the metallic materials industry can be determined, including trace amounts of C, P, S and N. They are also available complete calibration module for important matrices (Base metal) such as Fe, Al, Cu, Ni, Co, Ti, Mg, Mn, Zn, Sn and Pb.
The principle of optical emission spectrometry with spark excitation is one of the most preferred methods for determining the chemical composition of metallic and is extensively used in industry. Due to rapid analysis time and accuracy, optical emission spectrometry systems with spark excitation are among the most effective in controlling the processing of metallic materials.
The device is equipped with the new SPECTRO Plasma Generator excitation system, with CCDs specially selected for emission spectrometry with a new performing system "read-out", with an innovative optical system and the only system ICAL logic. General characteristic data regarding the technical, functional and performance spark optical emission spectrometer SPECTROMAXx M are presented in the following.
