Laboratory for Production and Refining of Metallic Materials ERAMET was developed at POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, Department Engineering and Management of Metallic Materials.

The laboratory ERAMET is used for studying of the metallic materials making and refining processes both by students (bachelor and PhD) and for scientific research based on research projects. The Laboratory for Production and Refining of Metallic Materials ERAMET is an experimental support, particularly for 'Steelmaking Engineering', 'Refining of Steel', 'Processing of Biocompatible Materials' and 'Special Steels' courses.
