NABERTHERM N17/HR Furnace

Preheat Furnace for Alloys and Metallurgical Thermal Treatments

Description, dimensional characteristics, technical and environmental

Nabertherm N17/HR furnace is dedicated ferroalloys preheating, for their introduction in induction furnace and conducting metallurgical thermal treatments carried out in the ERAMET Laboratory. It can also serve to melting metallic materials with smaller melt temperature than 1200°C.

Dimensional,  technical  and  environmental characteristics furnace Nabertherm N17/HR:

  • width 720 mm;

  • depth 890 mm;

  • height 510 mm;

  • weight 90 kg;

  • maximum working temperature 1200ºC;

  • rated voltage 400V 3/N ~;

  • power 6,4 kW;

  • working ambient temperature 5...40ºC;

  • humidity, max. 95% without condensation.

The multi-layer thermal insulation of the furnace is of high quality and saves electric energy.

Pivoting door is parallel, and opens down for user protection against thermal radiation.

The furnace is heated with electrical resistors on three sides (from both sides and from hearth).

The furnace is equipped with a controller that provides extended protection against incorrect operation.

A high quality thermocouple is used to measure and control the work chambre temperature.
